Numbers are any characters that represent a numerical value.

Numbers are split into a few categories: Real Numbers, Rational Numbers, Irrational Numbers, Integers, Whole Numbers, and Natural Numbers.

Note that numbers can fall in more than one of the categories listed above.

## Real Numbers Edit

A real number is any number that is finite and can be put on a number line.

## Rational Numbers Edit

A rational number is any number that can be produced by dividing two numbers. In other words, any number that can be represented as a common fraction is a rational number.

## Irrational Numbers Edit

As its name suggests, an irrational number is the opposite of a rational number. It cannot be represented as a common fraction. Irrational Numbers have decimal places that go on forever without repeating.

## Integers Edit

(i don't have time to edit, just start adding text for this heading, and add whole numbers and natural number sections)
